On October 1, 2026, students and faculty members of the Mariupol Construction Vocational College, together with teachers and students from the Donetsk Regional Palace of Children’s and Youth Creativity, held a joint charity event titled “A Common Cause—A Strong Ukraine.” Servicemen from the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine joined the event.
Ukrainian servicemen and Anton Bilay, director of the Mariupol Construction Vocational College, delivered welcoming remarks and addresses to the participants. As part of the hands-on session, artisans from the Donetsk Regional Palace of Children’s and Youth Creativity led a master class for students titled “With Gratitude to Our Defenders” on making traditional amulets—motanka dolls. The final stage was the charity fair “Together—For Our Own,” where souvenirs, handmade crafts, and treats were sold.
All funds raised during the fair and the amulets made will be donated to the soldiers of the 38th Separate Marine Brigade named after Hetman Petro Sahaidachny.
