As part of the "Side by Side: United Communities" project, a working meeting was held to discuss cooperation and support for residents of the Toretsk community who are currently living in Kaniv.
The event was attended by representatives of the Social Protection Department of the Toretsk City Military Administration, as well as representatives of the Social Protection Department of the Kaniv City Council Executive Committee and the Kaniv City Center for Social Services.
During the meeting, participants discussed the current needs of displaced persons from the Toretsk community who have found refuge in Kaniv, and identified key areas for further cooperation between the communities. Particular attention was paid to issues of social support, providing assistance to vulnerable groups, and coordinating actions among relevant services.
The parties confirmed their readiness for further cooperation, exchange of experience, and joint development of effective solutions to ensure an adequate level of social support for citizens.
The “Side by Side: United Communities” project promotes the strengthening of partnerships between communities, the development of mutual assistance, and the formation of sustainable ties in today’s challenging conditions.
