As part of the national project “Side by Side: United Communities” and Mental Health Week, social and medical institutions from the Toretsk community that have been relocated participated in a mental health training session organized by the Ruzhyn Community Resilience Center.
Today, more than ever, it is important not only to perform one’s job professionally but also to be able to support oneself and those around us. In the context of war, relocation, constant change, and high emotional stress, mental resilience becomes the foundation of our endurance and strength—for both medical and social workers and for every family.
The event was attended by representatives of the municipal institution “Territorial Center for Social Services” of the Toretsk City Military Administration in the Bakhmut District of Donetsk Oblast and the Toretsk City Central Hospital, which have now been relocated to the Ruzhyn Territorial Community.
Today, the Toretsk community is one that, despite losing the ability to work in its native territory, maintains unity, mutual support, and shared values. Cooperation with the communities that have welcomed Toretsk residents has become an example of true partnership, mutual aid, and solidarity.
It is precisely these initiatives, carried out as part of the “Side by Side: United Communities” project, that help not only pool resources and expertise, but also support people, rebuild their inner strength, and foster an atmosphere of trust and mutual understanding.
Together, we are stronger. Side by side—toward recovery.
