This was reported by the head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, Vadym Filashkin.
Mandatory evacuation from the Donetsk region has been ongoing since 2022. Since August, a transit center has been operating in the Kharkiv region, which has already accepted about 13,000 people — mainly residents of Kostiantynivka and Druzhkivka, who are most affected by Russian strikes.
Up to 10% of the evacuees are people with limited mobility, and almost half are elderly people. The center operates quickly and efficiently: most people stay here for 1-2 days, receive assistance, and then leave for safer regions. Only those who have difficulties with documents or accommodation stay longer.
This is the daily joint work of a large team that helps our people take the most difficult step — to leave on time.
Do not delay. Evacuate in time.
