This was announced by Vadym Filashkin, Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration and Chief of the Regional Military Administration.

During the first days of the program, the children have already hiked in the mountains, learned about local traditions, visited Kraków and Wawel Castle, explored the Museum of Illusions, and toured the medieval Dunajec Castle in Niedzica. Among the highlights of the trip were a rafting excursion on the scenic Dunajec River, making new friends, and participating in a friendship bracelet workshop.

For children growing up during wartime, such trips are especially meaningful. They offer a chance to replace daily anxiety, even temporarily, with travel, laughter, communication, and new experiences—to feel supported and simply enjoy being children.

"Many more excursions, activities, and adventures still lie ahead. I wish our children a wonderful time, renewed strength, and a safe return home with warm memories and new friendships.

I sincerely thank the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine and our Polish partners for their hospitality, care, and the excellent organization of this vacation for Ukrainian children," Vadym Filashkin emphasized.
