The Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers Award for Significant Contributions to Ensuring Ukraine’s Energy Security is presented annually to employees of electric power companies for their significant contributions to advancing the country’s energy security, for the personal courage and dedication they demonstrated while responding to accidents, and for their heroic work and conscientious fulfillment of their professional duties, particularly under martial law.
Both Ukrainian citizens and foreign nationals with permanent residency in Ukraine are eligible for the award. Candidates will be selected by a special committee headed by the First Deputy Prime Minister—Minister of Energy, and the decision to award the prizes will be approved by the Government. Up to 50 awards, each in the amount of 200,000 hryvnias, are awarded annually.
The deadline for submitting documents is September 30.
