The work of insurance experts on occupational safety at the Main Directorate of the Pension Fund of Ukraine in Donetsk region is aimed at preventing accidents and occupational diseases at enterprises, institutions, and organizations in the region.
Since the beginning of 2025, specialists from the Main Directorate have held 55 events — seminars, meetings, and round tables — during which they provided 634 consultations to representatives of enterprises, institutions, and organizations in the region on occupational safety issues.
Insurance experts explained issues related to taking measures to prevent accidents and occupational diseases, creating appropriate and safe working conditions in the workplace, conducting training on actions to be taken by employees to preserve life and health in conditions of martial law, providing first aid to victims, etc.
Specialists from the Main Directorate participated in the work of 99 investigation commissions, which resulted in 33 reports on accidents and occupational diseases (28 related to production, 3 not related to production, and 2 on chronic occupational diseases).
