On May 28, 2025, the final All-Ukrainian online gathering of student self-government leaders from general secondary and extracurricular education institutions took place.
The event titled "Children of an Unbreakable Country" is dedicated to the International Children's Day. Its goal is to summarize the leadership movement for the academic year and draw attention to the realization of children's rights in the face of modern challenges caused by the war waged by Russia against Ukraine.
Initiative youth from all corners of the country united thanks to the online format, which allowed them to overcome distances, connecting hearts, thoughts, and actions. The event was organized by the Ukrainian State Center for Extracurricular Education.
Partners from Let’s do it Ukraine also joined the meeting – long-time allies of the initiative youth, who are already shaping the future through concrete actions.
Each region presented its own final message – about the power of dreams, resilience, and faith in victory.
Donetsk region was represented honorably by the head of the regional council of leaders, Kyrylo Ponomarenko. His speech was a sincere and inspiring address to all who seek change: "Childhood is about trust, love for life, and openness. We believe in goodness. We believe in Ukraine and its victory over the Russian aggressor. And as long as we are together – we are unbreakable!"
"Children of an Unbreakable Country" is not just a title. It is a symbol of Ukraine's new strength – the youth, who are growing through trials, but in love, support, and action. It is the voice of youth that sounds confidently, inspired, and sincerely like an adult.
The youth of unbreakable Ukraine is the hope that is already acting. It is love for life and the Motherland that inspires!
