DTEK Donetsk Power Grid employees continue to work in Donetsk Oblast despite the fact that restoring power here is becoming increasingly difficult and dangerous. The enemy attacks the region daily, so power crews are increasingly coming under fire. This time, the energy company's specialists were traveling to inspect a line in one of the frontline settlements when an FPV drone flew nearby. Fortunately, the energy workers were not injured. However, the team's vehicle was damaged.
Since the beginning of this year, two energy workers have been injured as a result of regular drone attacks.
Energy workers can only begin work on damaged networks with the permission of the military and the State Emergency Service. At any moment, anywhere, crews can come under fire. Since the start of the full-scale invasion, energy company crews have come under fire more than 190 times, and 19 energy company specialists have been injured while performing their work.
