An educational and entertainment event was held for students of the Toretsk Vocational Lyceum, which is relocated to the village of Torgovytsia in Kirovohrad Oblast, at the Zastava hotel and restaurant complex in the village of Novoarkhangelsk in Kirovohrad Oblast.
The event was organized by the 10 April NGO, facilitator Vasyl Dubina, and Olena Rudenko, head of the children's service at the Pidvysoky village council, with whom the lyceum has been cooperating for more than three years. Children with special educational needs also participated.
The program included fire safety lessons from State Emergency Service inspector Yevhen Yatsenko, art therapy exercises and psychological testing organized by psychologist Elena Novikova and her colleagues, active games in the pool and outdoors, billiards and a friendly lunch.
For the children who left their homes due to the war, such meetings are an opportunity to feel support, find friends, recuperate and get ready for the new school year. The event was yet another example of how the sincere attitude and care of the people of Kirovograd region help IDP youth feel safe and strengthen their faith in returning home after our Victory.
