As part of the national project “Side by Side: United Communities,” a joint creative concert featuring students and teachers from art schools in Bakhmut and Kremenchuk was held at the Kremenchuk City Palace of Culture.

The audience was treated to performances by students of the Bakhmut Community School of Arts—Kateryna Akulova, Zakhar Pshonka, Roman Kvyatkovsky, Yulia Idzhilova, and Maria Galas—as well as the “Dominanta” vocal ensemble of teachers. Joining the Bakhmut performers on stage were talented musicians and vocalists from Kremenchuk Children’s Music Schools No. 1 (named after M. Lysenko), No. 2, and No. 3 (named after M. Kolachevsky).

Each performance was filled with genuine emotions that came straight from the heart. It was a sincere conversation between talented musicians and vocalists, filled with support and faith in the future.

Another expression of the children’s talent and creative vision was the artwork by students of the O. D. Litovchenko Art School in Kremenchuk, which adorned the hall.

The photo exhibition “A Walk Through My Hometown” and the crafts by Bakhmut artisans caught the guests’ attention. This part of the exhibition was particularly poignant, as the photographs, decorative works, and original crafts brought to life familiar images of Bakhmut—its streets, atmosphere, and memories of home.

Creative collectives from Bakhmut and Kremenchuk are joining forces, and it is through such collaboration that new meanings emerge, professional exchange is strengthened, and the power of Ukrainian art is revealed in a new light.
