The 56th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade in Mariupol held its first graduation ceremony for soldiers who completed basic military training directly in the unit. After completing their training, the recruits took the military oath of allegiance to the Ukrainian people and received their brigade insignia.

The training was based on the unit's real combat experience, which has been defending the Donetsk region for over three years. The training program was as close as possible to the conditions that soldiers face when performing combat missions in eastern Ukraine.

During the training, the recruits mastered the basic military disciplines: fire training, combat tactics, tactical medicine, engineering training, and working with unmanned systems. Each stage of training combined theoretical classes with practical skills training.

"There is no need to go to a training center — you train right here, together with your brothers-in-arms, with whom you will serve in the future. I really enjoyed the training. The instructors are experienced military personnel with extensive combat experience. They constantly helped, explained, and corrected mistakes," said recruit Serhiy.

This training format allows recruits to adapt to service more quickly, interact better within the unit, and gain the practical skills necessary to perform tasks directly in Donetsk Oblast.
