Construction Commences in Bila Tserkva for Housing Quarter for Displaced Mariupol Residents

In Bila Tserkva, Kyiv Oblast, construction officially launched for a new residential neighborhood designed to house internally displaced persons (IDPs) from Mariupol under the government initiative "My Home. Ukraine".

The head of Donetsk Oblast, together with Deputy Minister for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine Oleksii Riabykin, Deputy Head of Kyiv Regional State Administration Andrii Stashkiv, Head of Mariupol City Military Administration Vadym Boichenko, First Deputy Mayor of Bila Tserkva Inna Novohrebelska, and Executive Director of the Association of Ukrainian Cities Oleksandr Slobozhan, took part in the construction launch ceremony.

1,187 apartments structured across 44 residential sections, providing permanent homes for approximately 3,000 displaced residents.

Еhe neighborhood plan includes complete social infrastructure, community public spaces, and protective bomb shelters.

Dedicated state rental subsidies and financial support mechanisms will be made available for vulnerable social categories.

"For people who lost their homes due to the war, this is a concrete chance to have stable housing once again and plan their lives moving forward," emphasized Vadym Filashkin. "I express my gratitude to the President, the Government, Kyiv ODA, the Mariupol and Bila Tserkva hromadas, and all partners working to realize this project."
