The Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration and Chief of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Vadym Filashkin, announced that 19 families from Mariupol have received social housing in Chernivtsi.

These are families who were forced to flee their hometown following Russia's full-scale invasion and begin rebuilding their lives in a new city. For them, receiving these keys means much more than gaining access to a room—it represents a safe place to live, greater stability, and renewed confidence in the future.

The social housing facility has been designed in line with modern standards of comfort and accessibility. It provides suitable living conditions for families with children, older adults, and people with reduced mobility. The complex includes residential units, shared community spaces, a gym, a coworking area, and other facilities for residents.

Importantly, the "YaMariupol" Support Center operates within the complex. The center helps internally displaced people access social, humanitarian, psychological, and advisory services, adapt to their new community, and maintain connections within the Mariupol community.

“I thank everyone who contributed to making this project a reality—the Government of Ukraine, the Chernivtsi Regional Military Administration, the local community, our international partners, charitable organizations, and everyone supporting the people of the Donetsk region.

We will continue working to ensure that families who lost their homes because of the war receive the support they need and have access to decent living conditions,” Vadym Filashkin emphasized.
