On March 14, in observance of Ukrainian Volunteer Day, a meeting was held with veterans, military personnel, and family members of fallen (deceased) defenders from the Kalchynska rural community.

Representatives from the Regional State Administration’s Department of Veterans’ Policy, the charity organization “After Service,” the public organization “Ukrainian Association for Psychological Support,” and the Lyudmila Naidyonova Law Firm participated in the event.

The event “Strength Is Near: Dialogue, Support, Opportunities” began with the national anthem and a moment of silence to honor the memory of Ukraine’s fallen defenders and civilians.

The following issues were discussed during the meeting:

  • reintegration of male and female veterans upon their return to civilian life;
  • family law during wartime: what military personnel and their families need to know.

As part of the event, participants watched a thematic video. The atmosphere of the meeting was enhanced by musical performances by children, which served as an emotional highlight of the event.

Holding this meeting on the occasion of Ukrainian Volunteer Day provided an important opportunity to express gratitude to those who voluntarily stood up to defend Ukraine, as well as to discuss pressing issues regarding the support and reintegration of veterans.
