On August 7, a meeting was held to address the support and social protection of war veterans, their families, and the families of fallen defenders of Ukraine. The meeting involved representatives of the Volnovakha District State Administration, the District Military Administration, and the military administrations of settlements in the region.
Representatives of the Department for Veteran Affairs of the Regional State Administration also took part in the discussion.
The participants focused on providing additional social guarantees to war veterans, family members of fallen defenders of Ukraine, supporting service members released from captivity, severely wounded service members, as well as on organizing various events aimed at honoring the memory of fallen heroes of the Volnovakha district. The discussions also covered activities dedicated to the defense and protection of the state, the promotion of military history, and national-patriotic education involving war veterans, their families, and the families of fallen heroes.
As a result of the meeting, relevant instructions were issued to improve the implementation of veteran policy in the Volnovakha district.
