December 3 marks International Day of Persons with Disabilities. Compassion, sensitivity, and sympathy for the weak are characteristic traits of the Ukrainian people. The celebration of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities is a tribute to society and a reminder of the duty of people to show care and compassion for the most vulnerable members of society, the need to achieve full equality of rights and participation in the life of the country.
To mark the holiday, humanitarian hubs/centers held cultural events such as "Children's Hearts Celebration" and "Goodness in Your Hands," educational sessions such as "Let's Lend a Helping Hand," thematic discussions, interactive video lectures, role-playing games, festive programs, an exhibition of creative works entitled "Believe in Yourself," master classes on making crafts, gingerbread painting, and pleasant tea parties with treats. Humanitarian aid was provided in the form of food packages and sweet gifts.
The events brought joy to children and adults, a sense of collective support and respect, an opportunity to use their imagination, and try their hand at new activities.
We wish people with special needs endurance, health, optimism, and the realization of their plans, ideas, and dreams.
