On March 24, an informational and consultation meeting was held at the “Yednannia” humanitarian hub of the Pokrovsk City Military Administration. Specialists from the Donetsk Regional Employment Service met with people who, due to the war, were forced to leave their homes and start a new life in Zakarpattia.

During the meeting, employment service specialists provided detailed information about current state support programs for employment and professional development of internally displaced persons. Special attention was given to opportunities for obtaining grants to start or expand a business, as well as vouchers for free training. These tools are helping people not only adapt to new conditions but also build new career paths.

Particular focus was placed on practical aspects of job searching.

Participants were introduced to the актуальну (current) database of vacancies, informed about modern employer requirements, and given advice on how to effectively align their experience and skills with labor market needs.

Attendees also had the opportunity to learn the basics of writing a resume and practice it — including how to properly highlight strengths, emphasize key competencies, and create a competitive self-presentation.

Providing information about employment service opportunities at humanitarian hubs helps people stay confident and move forward toward new jobs and new opportunities.
