The Pokrovsk Sports and Youth Center in Dnipro continues its efforts to promote sports for veterans. Every day (except Sundays), the center welcomes male and female veterans, as well as service members who are in the city on leave, receiving medical treatment, or undergoing rehabilitation.
The veterans’ space at the Pokrovsk Sports and Youth Center was created for those who have defended and continue to defend Ukraine, so the main rule here is support, respect, and a personalized approach.
At the center, you can train for free and at your own pace. Services available to visitors:
▪️ weight room,
▪️ boxing and kickboxing ring,
▪️ area with punching bags,
▪️ fitness room.
You can work out on your own or with a trainer or instructor, tailoring the workout to your health and fitness level.
This time, Yuriy Koval, a veteran of the Russian-Ukrainian war, led a training session alongside Anatoliy Motuzenko, an instructor at the Pokrovsk City Center for Public Physical Health “Sport for All.” Members of the senior group of the “Bars” Sports Club, led by coach Artem Piatykhatka, also happily joined the session.
Such joint training sessions are not just about physical fitness, but also about support, communication, and recovery through movement. We invite veterans and military personnel to join us. We’re here for you! Everyone is welcome here!
