This was reported by the Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, Head of the Regional Military Administration, Vadym Filashkin.
It was an open discussion about the real needs of our defenders and their families. Together with representatives of the Donetsk and Kirovohrad Regional Military Administrations, the Ministry of Veterans Affairs, local self-government bodies, medical professionals, law enforcement officers, and the public, participants discussed the most pressing issues. Most importantly, more than half of the participants were veterans and members of their families.
This is especially important for Donetsk region, as many of our veterans currently live in different regions of Ukraine. That is why a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Donetsk Regional Military Administration and Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs.
The participants discussed employment, education, adaptive sports, psychological and legal support. During the forum, veterans also had the opportunity to receive individual consultations at the veterans’ hub.
Following the event, a joint resolution with concrete steps for further work was developed.
