Life-saving knowledge, confidence-building skills, and the readiness to act in critical situations—a 48-hour course on the fundamentals of national resistance has begun in Kryvyi Rih for residents of the Donetsk region. Its primary goal is to develop practical skills essential for personal safety, mutual assistance, and effective action in the face of modern-day challenges.

The course program combines theoretical knowledge with practical training. Participants learn the basics of tactical medicine, mine safety, topography, and the safe handling of weapons. Special emphasis is placed on practicing skills that can prove decisive in emergencies—situations where human lives depend on reaction speed, coordinated action, and the ability to make sound decisions.

An important aspect of the training is not only the acquisition of new knowledge but also the development of personal responsibility, discipline, resilience, and teamwork. After all, being prepared for unpredictable circumstances begins with an awareness of one’s own capabilities, the ability to remain calm, and the capacity to act with confidence and deliberation.

Amid a full-scale war, such educational initiatives take on particular significance. They help raise public awareness, foster a culture of safety, and strengthen the readiness of citizens to respond effectively to challenging circumstances. National resistance is not merely the readiness to defend one’s country; it also encompasses knowledge, responsibility, mutual support, and the ability to act when it is needed most. After all, the strength of a society begins with the preparedness of each one of us.
