On the occasion of Independence Day of Ukraine, a festive event was held in Kurakhiv Hub, uniting the youth of three communities – Myrnograd, Velikonovosilkivska and Kurakhivska.
The event was organized by the Youth Council and the Department of Culture, Family, Youth and Sports of the Velikonovosilkivska Settlement Military Administration in cooperation with the Youth Council of the Myrnograd Community.
The Myrnograd Community was represented by Oleksandr Levchenko, Deputy Head of the Youth Council. He congratulated the newly established Youth Council of the Velikonovosilkivska Region on the start of its activities and discussed with the youth the possibilities of partnership and implementation of joint initiatives. Oleksandr also moderated the interactive game “Code of Donetsk Region”, which united the participants and contributed to the popularization of the history and culture of their native land.
Liliya Zolkina, Head of the Department of Family, Youth and National-Patriotic Education of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, also participated in the event. Her presence was an important sign of support for youth initiatives at the local level.
The festive atmosphere was complemented by musical performances by community residents. The young people had the opportunity to get to know each other, share experiences and plan new joint projects.
This day once again reminded us: as long as we are united, as long as we create and act, our country lives!
