Despite constant shelling and danger, specialists from Donetskoblgaz JSC prove their dedication to their work every day by localizing and eliminating accidents and restoring gas supplies to residents of Donetsk region.
Between November 3 and 9, 2025, 62 cases of damage to gas networks caused by military actions were recorded in the Donetsk region.
Damage was recorded in the frontline towns of Kramatorsk, Druzhkivka, Sloviansk, Mykolaivka, and Rai-Oleksandrivka in the Kramatorsk district.
Enemy shelling in Lyman caused damage to the system, leaving the entire city without gas supply and disconnecting 1,164 subscribers.
This was reported by Donetskoblgaz.
"The situation in Lyman remains difficult due to active hostilities. There is currently no gas supply in Lyman due to the destruction of the underwater gas pipeline by Russian troops. We are ready to start repairs right now, as soon as it is physically possible. People are enduring, although the conditions are extremely difficult — even metal cannot withstand it," said Vadym Batiy, chairman of the board of Donetskoblgaz JSC.
"I thank our employees for their courage and professionalism, and the residents for their patience and understanding. We will definitely restore gas supply as soon as it becomes possible."
Employees of the emergency dispatch service are among the first to arrive at the scene immediately after shelling, as soon as the security situation allows, risking their own lives so that residents can safely use gas even in the difficult conditions of the frontline territories.
