The opening ceremony was attended by officials from the Transcarpathian and Donetsk regional military administrations, who greeted the children and wished them a safe and meaningful stay in Transcarpathia.
The first group consists of 100 children aged 9 to 12. Over the course of 14 days, they will undergo a program of psychological and physical rehabilitation at a health resort relocated to Transcarpathia.
Among the participants are children from the families of military personnel, police officers, rescue workers, and other members of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, as well as children who need emotional support due to the effects of the war.
The program includes sports activities, soccer training, psychological support, excursions, and cultural events.
