The youth project "ECOmotion: integrating youth through ecological activities and informal education" has officially started in the Mykolaiv community, aimed at uniting local youth and internally displaced persons through joint actions for the benefit of the environment.
The project is being implemented as part of the mini-grants competition "DIY Community" within the UNICEF program for participants aged 14 to 24 who wish to learn, interact, and change their community for the better.
"ECOmotion" is not just a series of events. It is a space for development, creativity, and teamwork.
Among the planned events are master classes in acting and eco-art, the ecological action "Restore Your City," as well as communication with successful youth.
The project also aims to develop soft skills such as teamwork, critical thinking, and leadership, and to improve the psychological state of youth through informal education and collaboration.
The UNICEF program in the Donetsk region is implemented by the NGO "Measures" in partnership with the NGO "Country of Development" with the support of the Donetsk Regional State Administration.
