This was announced by Vadym Filashkin, Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration and Chief of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration.
Nearly 660 children in need of special social care and support will spend their August days at the Karpaty and Sonyachne Zakarpattia health resorts. A special program has been prepared to help them relax, make new friends, regain their strength, and build self-confidence.
The theme of this session is "Create Goodness – Ignite the Future!" Children will take part in creative and sports activities, training sessions, theatrical performances, environmental workshops, and community service initiatives.
"The Carpathians are once again filled with the voices of children from the Donetsk region. It is important that, far from the shelling, they can once again experience the simple joys of childhood and dream about the future.
Throughout the summer season, the Pearl of Donetsk Region program will welcome more than 2,000 children, including those who were forced to leave their homes because of the war.
I thank the region's communities and everyone who helped organize this holiday for our children. The next session will begin on August 25. Parents can contact the social protection authorities in their communities for more information," Vadym Filashkin emphasized.
