A working meeting was held in Poltava between Lilia Zolkina, Head of the Department of Family, Youth, and Mass Events for National-Patriotic Education of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, and department specialists, with the participation of representatives from the regional state administration’s Department of Culture and Tourism, as well as humanitarian hubs operating in the city.

The event was organized at the “MiRazom” Support Center for Internally Displaced Persons in the Kramatorsk District.

At the meeting, participants discussed key issues regarding the implementation of youth policy under martial law, focusing in particular on strategic directions for strengthening Ukrainian national and civic identity.

Special attention was given to preparing the population for national resistance as an important component of the national security system. Participants emphasized the need to develop relevant knowledge and skills among young people, as well as to raise their level of civic awareness and readiness to face today’s challenges.

During the meeting, practical cases regarding the relocation of youth centers from frontline territories were also reviewed. The prospects for opening new youth spaces were discussed; these are intended to serve as hubs of activity for internally displaced youth, facilitating their social adaptation and integration into host communities.

Following the event, the parties agreed to further coordinate efforts and exchange experiences to enhance the effectiveness of youth work under martial law.
