On the eve of Ukraine's Constitution Day, with the assistance of the humanitarian hub of the Mariinsky City Military Administration, an educational and patriotic event for children was held at the Prosyansky Palace of Culture, organized by the Mariinsky City Center for Social Services.
In an accessible form, the children learned what the Constitution of Ukraine is, why it is the Basic Law of our state, and what significance it has for every citizen. Particular attention was paid to studying the state symbols of Ukraine—their history, meaning, and importance in the life of the Ukrainian people.
The children enthusiastically took part in the game “Make a Flag,” during which they assembled the Ukrainian flag from separate elements, repeating its colors and symbols. The quiz “What do you know about Ukraine” was another highlight of the event, where participants showed their knowledge of their native country, its culture, traditions, and history.
The event ended with a creative workshop, during which each child made a symbolic bookmark in the shape of the Ukrainian symbol—the trident. These crafts became not only interesting souvenirs, but also a reminder of the significance of this national holiday.
The event took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere. The children gained a lot of new knowledge, positive emotions, and joy from communication, creativity, and play.
