There was a special atmosphere of anticipation at the People's House in Sheptytsky. Children from the community and young refugees from Donetsk region watched a festive performance for St. Nicholas Day, prepared by the Exemplary Children's Puppet Theater "Kazka" under the direction of Svitlana Romanova.

For our little compatriots, this event was an opportunity to feel the support of the community, immerse themselves in a world of kindness and fantasy, and forget their hardships for at least a moment. The young actors presented the audience with a sincere, heartwarming story in which goodness always triumphs and dreams come true.

The event was held as part of the Side by Side: United Communities initiative, which aims to strengthen mutual support and unity among residents of different regions.

The event was organized by Dmytro Shynkar, head of the Yednannia humanitarian hub.

He noted: "We want every family that finds itself far from home to feel cared for and supported here. This holiday is an opportunity to bring joy to children and show them that there are people nearby they can rely on."

The performance was not only a festive gift, but also an important step towards integration into the community, as different families spend time together, share warmth, and create shared memories.
