In the Siversk community, the state of the implementation of veteran policy was discussed.

On June 9, a meeting took place in the Siversk City Territorial Community, where the state of implementation of veteran policy and social guarantees for war veterans and the families of fallen Defenders of Ukraine was discussed. 

The event was attended by the head of the veteran policy department of the regional state administration, Artur Nasibyan, the deputy head of the Siversk Military Administration, Viktor Buslov, the head of the Social Protection Department of the Bakhmut District State Administration, Natalia Antipenko, the head of the NGO "Unified Family of Donetsk Region," Halyna Brazhnyk, a representative of the Main Department of the Pension Fund of Ukraine in Donetsk region, as well as community members and relatives of the fallen (deceased) Defenders.

During the meeting, the state of implementation of veteran policy in the community was discussed, particularly the issue of providing housing for veterans.

The participants of the meeting received information about social guarantees provided at the state and regional levels, discussed social benefits and subsidies for war veterans, issues of compensation for destroyed property, as well as the provision of rehabilitation aids for individuals affected by the war. In addition, they thoroughly examined the opportunities for veterans to participate in grant and micro-grant programs.

Attention was paid to the development of sports initiatives, as well as ensuring access to quality medical services.

During the meeting, the issue of registering family members of fallen servicemen for housing assistance was raised sharply.

The meeting became an important platform for exchanging experiences and coordinating further steps in supporting veterans, their families, and the families of fallen Defenders of the Siversk Territorial Community.
