The police evacuated 6 people from under fire: a mother and her 9-year-old son, a pregnant woman with her husband, and an elderly couple. Currently, all evacuees are in safe regions of the country.
The police received a report about a woman with a young child and her pregnant acquaintance in a frontline city. The crew immediately responded to the call. It turned out that the mother and her son Maksym had come to collect their belongings.
“We weren’t planning to stay — it’s very scary. Drones are circling around the house,” said a resident of Kostiantynivka.
Together with the family, the law enforcement officers evacuated their acquaintances — a 28-year-old woman and a 36-year-old man. All were taken to Druzhkivka, from where they headed to the Dnipropetrovsk region with the help of volunteers.
On the same day, the police evacuated an elderly couple from the outskirts of the city, which is constantly under enemy attacks. During the evacuation, the occupiers once again struck the city with KABs and artillery. Despite the shelling, the police crew safely delivered the pensioners to a shelter in Kramatorsk. They will then head to the Zhytomyr region.
Due to the danger from the air, moving around Kostiantynivka is almost impossible, so people hardly leave their homes, and if they do, they move quickly and in a hurry.
The police urge residents of frontline settlements not to risk their lives and to evacuate in a timely manner. If necessary, call 102.
