This was reported by Vadym Filashkin, Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration and Chief of the Regional Military Administration.
The gift packages were delivered by ADRA Ukraine as part of the project “Children for Children.” They were prepared by school students in Slovakia together with ADRA Slovakia — each package was personally assembled and packed by the children themselves. These parcels contained not just items, but sincere support and the warmth of children’s hearts, extending a hand of friendship to their Ukrainian peers.
In addition to receiving gifts, the children took part in a мастер class where they created decorative panels featuring the Ukrainian trident. It was a heartfelt and symbolic moment of unity, when through creativity the children felt pride in their country.
“I sincerely thank the children of Slovakia for their big hearts, as well as ADRA Ukraine and ADRA Slovakia for their constant support of our families. Together, we give children not only gifts, but also faith in goodness,” Vadym Filashkin emphasized.
