Participants in the "Carpathian Shift" program from the Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kyiv regions spent a day that had it all: lively conversation, creativity, sports, music, and those simple moments of joy that make up a childhood—something many of them are currently missing.

The children drew, participated in creative activities, played, discovered new hobbies, and spent time together.

A special highlight of the day was Artem Pivovarov’s performance—live music that the children greeted with genuine excitement, photos, autographs, and the sense of a once-in-a-lifetime event.

The project participants were also joined by Yulia Svyrydenko — Prime Minister of Ukraine, Viktor Mykyta — Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Myroslav Biletsky — Head of the Zakarpattia Regional State Administration, Roman Saray — Head of the Zakarpattia Regional Council, and Mykola Kalashnyk — Head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration.

This day is about attention, support, and a space where children can simply be children.

The “Carpathian Shift” project is being implemented at the initiative of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, with the support of the Office of the President of Ukraine, regional military administrations, and the Ukrainian Football Association.
