As part of the national project “Side by Side: United Communities,” an online meeting dedicated to peace was held between students and teachers from the Hoshcha and Bakhmut communities.
The children got to know each other, completed interactive activities, and exchanged ideas. Together, they reflected on what peace means to them, how to show mutual respect, and how to support one another.
Everyone had the opportunity to speak and listen to peers from the other community, better understand their counterparts’ experiences, find common interests, and forge friendships that can endure despite the distance.
For the students from Bakhmut and Hoshcha, this is an opportunity to expand their social circles and continue cooperation between the schools. We look forward to new meetings and joint initiatives by students and teachers.
