On September 28, a meeting was held to discuss support for specialists who assist war veterans and demobilized personnel.
The meeting, attended by support specialists and the directors/deputy directors of municipal institutions where these specialists are employed, was conducted by representatives of the Regional State Administration’s Department of Veterans’ Policy.
Artur Nasibyan, Head of the Regional State Administration’s Department of Veterans’ Policy, addressed the support specialists regarding professional development, the assignment of higher categories, and the issuance of the corresponding certificate in accordance with the conditions set forth in Resolution No. 881 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated August 2, 2024, “Certain Issues Regarding the Activities of Support Specialists for War Veterans and Demobilized Persons.”
Alina Moiseenko, Deputy Head of the Department and Head of the Division for Social Protection of Veterans and Social Support for Family Members of the Fallen within the Department of Veterans’ Policy of the Regional State Administration, emphasized the main tasks of support specialists and their interaction with authorized bodies regarding the provision of state, regional, and local supplementary social guarantees for war veterans, their family members, and the family members of fallen (deceased) Defenders of Ukraine. She also highlighted the results of the support specialists’ work and summarized their performance in the “OSKAR” CRM system throughout 2026.
As of today, 11 specialists in supporting war veterans and demobilized personnel have been employed in the region’s local communities. They work at the municipal institutions “Social Services Center” and “Territorial Social Services Center” in the territorial communities of Sloviansk, Kramatorsk, Kostyantynivka, Druzhkivka, Mykolaiv, and Lyman (cities); Oleksandrivka, Novodonetsk, and Cherkasy (towns); and Illinivka (rural community).
