As part of the national project “Side by Side: United Communities,” the Udachne and Sokal communities invite all community residents to participate in the “My Ukraine—My Pride” photo contest, dedicated to Ukraine’s Independence Day.
All interested residents of the Udachne and Sokal communities are invited to participate, regardless of age.
Contest Rules.
Take an original photo on one of the following themes:
- wearing a vyshyvanka;
- with the National Flag of Ukraine;
- in a picturesque spot in your community;
- near a memorable or historic site;
- a family photo that reflects your love for Ukraine.
Include a short description (3–5 sentences) with your photo, explaining:
- why you chose this particular place or image;
- what Ukraine means to you;
- what you’re proud of in your community.

The deadline for submissions is August 22, 2026 (inclusive).
Your submission must include: the participant’s last name, first name, age, the community you represent, and a contact phone number.
The best entries will be awarded on August 24 and published on the official information resources of the Udachne and Sokal communities.
