More and more Ukrainian schools are connecting Diia.QR — a tool that allows parents and teachers to send copies of necessary documents online via the Diia app directly to the school's email. This is convenient in any situation when documents need to be provided to the educational institution. For example, when enrolling a child in school or submitting documents for employment.
Let's model a situation. You came to enroll your child in school but forgot your passport or the child's birth certificate at home. Previously, you would have had to return for the document and then look for a place to make a photocopy. Fortunately, digital documents in Diia are always at hand, and their PDF copies can be sent via the app in just a few minutes. The school will receive such a copy immediately to its own email to attach it to the application or contract.
What do parents need to send copies of documents via Diia.QR?
- A document in the Diia app, the copy of which needs to be sent. For example, a passport, tax identification card, child's birth certificate, etc.
- Activated Diia.Signature.
What does the school need to do to receive copies of documents via Diia?
- Order Diia.QR on the Diia portal.
- Place the QR code in the location where you accept documents from parents.
The document sharing process via Diia.QR looks like this:
- A school employee provides the school's Diia.QR.
- The user opens the QR scanner in the Diia app and points it at the school's Diia.QR.
- In the user's Diia, a request automatically opens. It indicates which school is requesting and which specific document copy. The request needs to be confirmed with the Diia.Signature.
- After that, Diia will automatically generate a draft email with the PDF copy of the digital document and the school's email address. The user will just need to send this email.
No more queues at the printer or trips home — the required document can be sent electronically right on the spot.
