The Ukrainian Veterans Fund of the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine, with the support of the NATO Representation in Ukraine as part of the Human Centric Framework program, operates a free hotline for psychological and legal support—0 800 33 20 29.
The hotline has been operating since 2022 and has handled over 80,000 calls during that time. To better understand the needs of male and female veterans, the Fund has initiated a survey.
The purpose of the survey is to determine:
- whether residents of our region are aware of the possibility of receiving free psychological and legal assistance;
- which sources of information are the most convenient and effective;
- and which services or explanations are most lacking.
Based on the survey results, an information campaign will be developed to direct resources precisely where information is lacking. The accuracy of this data directly determines how many people in the region will learn where to turn for help.
