The procedure for calculating and paying compensation for consumed housing and utility services, as well as for the purchase of liquefied gas, solid and liquid household stove fuel for institutions, establishments, enterprises, organizations, and individual entrepreneurs who provide free accommodation to internally displaced persons (IDPs), is regulated by Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 616 of May 27, 2025.
Compensation is provided on the condition that internally displaced persons:
👉 have left areas of active hostilities or temporarily occupied territories and do not own housing outside those areas with a total living space exceeding 13.65 sq. m per person;
👉 or their housing has been destroyed or is unfit for habitation, as confirmed by data from the relevant state register or inspection reports.
