A meeting of the State Emergency Anti-Epizootic Commission at the regional state administration was held, chaired by Igor Boiko, Deputy Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration.
The meeting was attended by members of the State Emergency Anti-Epizootic Commission at the regional state administration, heads of departments in districts and cities of the Main Directorate of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection in Donetsk region, as well as heads of state veterinary hospitals in districts and cities of the region and the Donetsk Regional State Laboratory of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection.
During the meeting, participants discussed the implementation of the plan of anti-epizootic measures for the prevention of major infectious and parasitic diseases of animals in Donetsk region in 2025. Attention was paid to the planning and coordination of anti-epizootic measures for the prevention of these diseases in 2026.
They also discussed the issue of conducting a campaign in 2026 for the oral immunization of wild carnivorous animals against rabies in the Donetsk region.
Based on the results of the meeting, priority tasks were identified and appropriate instructions were given to ensure a stable epizootic situation in the region.
