The Donetsk Region Center for Unity and National Resistance, in collaboration with the Department of Family, Youth, and Mass Events for National Patriotic Education, invites young people to participate in a special online lecture dedicated to the Day of Remembrance of the Heroes of Kruty.
This event will take place on the eve of an important date — January 28, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. — and will be a great opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the historical significance of the feat of the young defenders of Ukraine, which has become a symbol of resilience and patriotism.
The lecture will be given by Vitaliy Skalsky, a renowned Ukrainian historian, candidate of historical sciences, researcher of the history of the Ukrainian Revolution of 1917–1921, and active serviceman of the 17th Poltava Brigade "Raid" of the 2nd Corps of the National Guard of Ukraine "Charter."
Thanks to his combination of deep scientific knowledge and experience as a modern defender of Ukraine, Vitaliy Skalsky will not only be able to talk about the events of a century ago, but also draw parallels with the Ukrainian people's current struggle for freedom and independence.
Registration will be open until January 28, 2026, at this link.
Registered participants will receive an email with links to connect.
The number of places is limited, so join the online lecture to honor the memory of the Heroes of Kruty and draw strength from their feat for today's victory!
