On August 6, 2025, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted a decision aimed at developing the livestock industry.
It provides for up to 25% reimbursement of the cost of expenses (excluding VAT) for the construction or reconstruction of farms, milking parlors or facilities for processing animal by-products.
Reimbursement will be available for facilities whose construction and/or reconstruction began no earlier than February 24, 2022 and were put into operation from January 1 to September 30, 2025.
Subsequently, such support will be provided for facilities commissioned in October-December of the previous year and January-September of the current year.
Applications will be accepted after the relevant announcement is published in the State Agrarian Register and will last until October 20 this year. Applications will be reviewed until December 5, 2025.
Additional state support for livestock farming:
- stimulate the maintenance of breeding cattle and promote the development of cattle breeding;
- reduce the cost of construction and reconstruction of livestock farms and complexes;
- strengthen the food security of the state.
