On the eve of the Day of Defenders of Ukraine, a meeting took place in Kyiv with the families of servicemen from the Bakhmut community who gave their lives for the freedom and independence of Ukraine. The meeting was attended by Artur Nasibyan, Head of the Department for Veteran Policy of the Regional State Administration.
As part of the meeting, an information session was also held. Representatives of the Bakhmut City Military Administration, the Pokrovsk branch of the Donetsk Regional Employment Center, and the NGO Right to Protection provided explanations on state and additional social guarantees and support programs. Families had the opportunity to receive individual consultations and ask questions. All important topics raised were taken for further consideration.
Deputy Mayor of Bakhmut Serhii Rodin and Head of the Department for Veteran Policy of the Donetsk Regional State Administration Artur Nasibyan presented to the families of 16 fallen soldiers from Bakhmut posthumous awards “Defender of Ukraine – Hero of the Bakhmut Community” and financial certificates.
Heroes do not die — they continue to live in our memory and in our daily struggle. We remember each of them!
