On July 25, a meeting with war veterans, Ukraine's defenders, members of their families, and the families of fallen Heroes from the Mariupol Territorial Community was held at the "YaMariupol. Health" Medical Hub in Odesa. The event took place in a hybrid format—both in person and online—and brought together representatives of government authorities, local self-government bodies, and organizations that support the veteran community.
During the meeting, participants learned about national and local social support programs, pension benefits, social guarantees, and opportunities for professional reintegration after military service.
Special attention was given to employment opportunities. Nataliia Peftiieva, Deputy Head of the Service Delivery Department of the Donetsk Regional Employment Center, presented the Employment Service's modern programs designed to help veterans and their family members find jobs, improve their qualifications, or start their own businesses. Participants learned about personalized job search support, vocational training opportunities, training vouchers, grant programs for entrepreneurship, and other available services.
Employment Service specialists also provided individual consultations on-site for veterans and their family members who attended the event in Odesa.
Participants had the opportunity to receive answers to their questions about the Employment Service's programs and services. This face-to-face format made it possible to provide personalized recommendations tailored to each visitor's individual circumstances.
