Vadym Filashkin held a meeting with Anthony Banbury, President of the International Foundation for Electoral Systems, as well as with the team of the World Food Programme in Ukraine.
The participants discussed the humanitarian and security situation, food needs, the progress of evacuation efforts, and plans for 2026. Particular attention was given to supporting evacuation hubs and “Points of Invincibility,” which assist people on a daily basis.
Donetsk region continues to require stable support in essential sectors — water, heating, and electricity supply — as well as assistance for internally displaced persons.
The parties agreed to continue coordination and identified priority areas for cooperation this year.
“I thank our partners for supporting Donetsk region and for their willingness to work directly here under challenging conditions. I am especially grateful to the World Food Programme for its consistent assistance over the years.
We are working together to ensure people have what they need,” Vadym Filashkin emphasized.
