The Head of Donetsk region honored those who safeguard peace and security every day — the battalion of the Patrol Police in the cities of Kramatorsk and Sloviansk.
“I presented police officers with the ‘Badge of Honor’ of the Donetsk Regional State Administration. These are not just awards — they are our expression of gratitude for their service and commitment, for supporting our residents and responding to the daily challenges of war.
Since the start of the full-scale invasion, patrol officers have not only maintained public order in the settlements of Donetsk region but have also rescued people from under Russian shelling. They are often among the first to provide aid to victims at the sites of enemy attacks and to evacuate civilians from frontline communities.
The Patrol Police of Sloviansk and Kramatorsk are always ready to help — I thank each and every one of you who serves here today!
I was also pleased to receive a commemorative coin from the unit’s commander, Yehor Holubov, as a symbol of our cooperation.
We continue to work closely together for the sake of our Donetsk region and Ukraine!” — emphasized Vadym Filashkin.
