How to improve cyber resilience across the country: new guides on Diya.Education

Published 14 October 2025 year, 17:41

Cyber threats occur every day. Most of them can be easily stopped with simple steps. Two-factor authentication, software updates, and backups reduce* the risk of incidents by 98%. This works for everyone: government agencies, businesses, and personal accounts.

To make cyber hygiene simple and understandable, the State Special Communications Service and BRDO have created a complete set of practical guides on the Diya.Osvita platform.

They contain everything you need to move from theory to action right away:

  • instructions for safe daily work with data;
  • checklists and tests to check your level of protection;
  • templates for policies and documents that can be adapted to the needs of a company or institution;
  • real-life cases of how Ukrainian organizations have reduced the number of attacks by 80–90%.

Who can use the guides:

  • Government agencies — to train teams to respond to incidents and build internal security policies.
  • Businesses — to protect customer data and finances without significant expense.
  • Communities and non-governmental organizations — to increase resilience even with limited resources.
  • Citizens — to learn how to recognize phishing, create strong passwords, and stay safe online.

The platform also features the Draft Standards for National Cyber Hygiene in Ukraine, which establishes uniform state rules consistent with international practices ISO 27001, NIS2, and NIST.

New guides on Diya.Education help you check your security level, find vulnerabilities, and implement the necessary changes — in the state, business, community, or personal space.

Updates, backups, and complex passwords often save the day faster than complex protection systems.
