The Head of Donetsk Oblast held a meeting on the implementation of the Government’s decision, issues of financial support from the education subvention and local budgets, as well as the need for strict compliance with legislative requirements.
“I emphasized that salary increases must be ensured without reducing allowances, additional payments, or incentive bonuses.
The decision to increase educators’ salaries is an initiative of the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy. At the beginning of 2026, the Government adopted the relevant decision. It is now important to ensure its timely and proper implementation at the local level, taking into account the specific conditions under which educational institutions operate during martial law.
Education remains one of the state’s key priorities, and supporting educators is an investment in the future of our communities and the entire country.
