Issues of social protection, support programs for internally displaced persons, and the development of international territorial cooperation of the Donetsk region were discussed during an extended meeting with профильні units of the regional administration and heads of military administrations.
The participants reviewed the results of the program “Shoulder to Shoulder: United Communities,” which has already proven effective in strengthening cooperation between communities and supporting those most in need. Further steps to expand cooperation and enhance community capacity were also discussed.
“As part of the meeting, I heard reports from the heads of the Kramatorsk, Mariupol, and Pokrovsk military administrations. The focus was on best practices in implementing support programs for residents and internally displaced persons, as well as opportunities to scale these practices across other communities in the region.
I instructed the heads of relevant departments of the regional administration and military administrations to act systematically, respond promptly to current challenges, and ensure maximum accessibility of social services for everyone in need,” Vadym Filashkin emphasized.
