The Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration met with representatives of UN agencies led by Ms. Edem Wosornu, Director of the Operations and Advocacy Division of the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), and Matthias Schmale, UN Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator in Ukraine.
“I outlined the priority needs of Donetsk Region to the UN representatives and briefed them on the security and humanitarian situation.
The situation in Donetsk Region remains difficult, so international support, rapid response, and coordinated efforts are critically important.
I am grateful to the UN team for their attention to Donetsk Region, their continued presence in the area, and their readiness to help our people in the most challenging conditions,” Vadym Filashkin emphasized.
